What the eyes cannot see

I had a rough day at work and all I wanted was something stiff and strong, I got into Priceless, a pub just by the corner of my apartment, I wondered why it was called Priceless, anyway I sat at the farthest side of the bar and wanted to be alone with my thoughts, I ordered, closed my eyes and when I opened my eyes, I saw I had company, what now, can't a girl be left alone, he smiled like he heard me, my name is Sean he said, Hi Sean, I am Alaba, African he said, fresh, teach me how to pronounce it, he was looking straight at me like he could see my soul, I obliged him, I love your rich laughter he said, I smiled, he said innocent smile, I blushed..
And he asked Why are you so heavy, how did you know that, I chimed, I could feel it he said, I narrated my whole day, and he listened, you have got that resolute in your voice, never lose it he said,  you should smile more, brings out that warm glow.... I was actually smiling, feeling so much better only for me to hear someone calling, Sean, Sean I am ready, another guy walked in with a cane, handed Sean the cane, apologised for the disturbance, that was when I realised, Sean was blind ........
